Who we are and how we get paid
Homeowner Recovery Options is a foreclosure-relief service for homeowners in Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota. We look up what has actually been recorded against your property, explain the six options you have before the sale date, and charge nothing for it. We are not a government agency, not a law firm, and not affiliated with your lender. We are affiliated with Property Seller Solutions, a company that buys houses, which is how the business is paid and why selling is one of the six rather than the point of the call.
That last sentence is the part most companies in this business leave off their about page. The rest of this one explains it.

What we do
We talk to homeowners who are behind on their mortgage in Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, and we help them understand what options they actually have before a sale date arrives. That conversation is free and there is nothing to sign.
We reach people by mail and by phone, using foreclosure filings that are public record. If you want to know exactly how that works, we wrote a whole page about it.
How we make money
Homeowner Recovery Options is affiliated with Property Seller Solutions, a company that buys homes directly from owners. When a homeowner decides that selling is the right answer, we sometimes buy the property. That is where our revenue comes from.
Which means we have an interest in some outcomes and not others, and you should know that before you talk to us. Our position on it is simple: if you can keep the home, you should, and we will tell you how. Most of the people we speak with never sell anything to us, and that is a normal week.
When selling genuinely is the right answer, you are still under no obligation to sell to us. Get other offers. List it with an agent if that nets you more, and we will tell you when we think it will.
The required disclosures
Homeowner Recovery Options is not associated with the government, and our service is not approved by the government or your lender.
We do not charge you any fee for reviewing your situation or explaining your options.
You may stop doing business with us at any time.
You have the right to contact your lender, a lawyer, or a HUD-approved housing counselor directly at any time, and we encourage it.
